Singer and music composer Vishal Dadlani has voiced his disapproval of this trend, referring to it as "AI plagiarisation."

Vishal took to his Instagram stories to criticize the current trend. The music composer urged his followers not to tag him in posts that showcase his Ghibli-style avatar.
"I regret to inform you that I will not be sharing any of the Studio Ghibli-style images you have created of or for me. I cannot support the appropriation of an artist's lifetime of work by AI," Vishal expressed in his message.
Additionally, the singer highlighted the environmental impact of AI, stating, "Let’s not overlook the ecological devastation caused by these images. Please refrain from creating any more. Thank you."

Additionally, megastar Amitabh Bachchan utilized his official blog to showcase his Ghibli-style edits from a fan meeting held on Sunday. In his post, he remarked, "And Ghibli... permeates the world... within the reality of communication and the creation of the 'reel'... a concept that has gained significant popularity and warrants attention," while sharing the images.
