There's rarely a time when Virat Kohli doesn't stop showering love and heaping praise on his loving wife, Anushka Sharma. With every step, the actor supports him, believing they are each other's rock. Over the weekend, India's victory in the coveted T20 World Cup 2024 earned the former Indian skipper the title of Man of the Match. With that, Kohli also announced that he is retiring from the T20 format internationally. Now, he took to his social media pages and shared a heartfelt note for Anushka.

Kohli posted a candid photo with the actor, in which they are laughing their hearts out while standing against the sunkissed backdrop. They are enjoying the sundowner with champagne, and it looks like they will always be each other's favourite company.

While sharing the photo, Kohli dropped a loved-up caption in which he adored her and wrote that without Anushka, none of this would have been even remotely conceivable. He also stated that her unflinching honesty and ability to keep him in his place keep him grounded and modest. Her kindness and generosity mean the world to Kohli. 

He concluded by writing that they both deserve equal credit for this triumph. Much obliged, and Kohli loves Anushka just as she is.

Meanwhile, soon after India's win, Anushka took to her social media pages and shared a photo of Kohli holding the prestigious trophy. She also showered her affection on him, writing that she loves him and that having him as her home is an incredible blessing. She ends the caption with a quirky twist, adding that in the name of the celebration, she suggests he raise a glass of "sparkling water."

Virat and Anushka welcomed their second baby, Akaay, a boy, on February 15 this year. The couple has been married for nearly seven years now and are also proud parents of their daughter Vamika, whom they welcomed in January 2021.
