Vir Das is back on Netflix with his latest stand-up special! Called Vir Das: Fool Volume, this Emmy-winning comedian has filmed the show in different cities across the globe, all centered around the theme of kindness.

Just weeks before a big performance, he finds himself at a loss for words and starts to question where his voice has disappeared to. He has a few shows available on Netflix, such as For India, Vir Das: Inside Out, and Vir Das: Outside In, which all premiered in 2020.

Vir Das takes home the International Emmy Award for Best Comedy Series

In 2022, he hosted Vir Das: Landing, which ended up winning the Best Comedy Series at the 51st International Emmy Awards. This was Das's first win after being nominated twice. He shared the award with the British show Derry Girls. His stand-up routine in New York City explores his challenging childhood in India and the journey that led him to move to the U.S.

Das recently expressed his excitement about shooting in New York City. You can really feel his eagerness for an amazing finish to 2022. Just like with his previous three comedy specials, he’s hoping this one gets a ton of positive reactions. In his show "Landing," he dives into themes like freedom, foolishness, and what it means to be a citizen in a global society. At the 2022 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, he was a huge success, performing over 183 times across more than 25 countries.
