Vineet Kumar Singh aims to carry on Irrfan Khan's legacy

Vineet Kumar Singh has expressed his interest in making a film similar to Hera Pheri or Dhamaal, and he believes he could carry on Irrfan Khan's legacy. In a chat with Jagran, he mentioned, "I want to do films like the ones Irfan bhai did, like Hindi Medium. I’d really enjoy working on something like Piku or many other films in that vein. I just haven’t had the chance to explore this side as an actor yet."

Vineet Kumar Singh is on the lookout for comedic parts

Vineet Kumar Singh is often viewed as a serious and deep actor, but he insists there's a funny side to him just waiting to shine. He attributes this to his upbringing in a joint family in India, where unintentional humor was a regular occurrence due to the family dynamics. While he’s eager to take on comedic roles, he can't help but feel let down that Mukkabaaz (2017) didn’t do as well as he hoped. He put in a ton of effort for that film, training for up to 7 hours a day, sometimes even four times daily. He had high hopes for it, but in the end, it turned out to be more of a learning experience for him.

Vineet Kumar Singh has been busy with some exciting projects lately, like Match Fixing and Vicky Kaushal's upcoming film Chhaava, which hasn't hit theaters yet. This talented actor, known for his roles in Gangs of Wasseypur, Bombay Talkies, Ugly, and Mukkabaaz, also has Jaat and Superboys of Malegaon lined up for the future.
