Malayalam actress Vincy Aloshious has lodged an official complaint with the Film Chamber against actor Shine Tom Chacko, alleging that he exhibited "inappropriate behaviour" towards her while under the influence of drugs on a film set. However, she has now expressed her willingness to retract the complaint, citing her disappointment over the disclosure of the actor's name to the media.

Subsequently, she elaborated on her statement in a social media post, sharing that during the filming of a project, one of the lead actors engaged in drug use, exhibited inappropriate behavior, and pressured her to modify her costume, which caused her discomfort. Nevertheless, she chose not to disclose the identity of the actor in her post.
On April 17, in addition to submitting a complaint to the Film Chamber, the actor also reported Chacko's inappropriate behavior on the set of the upcoming film Soothravakyam to the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists. Jayan Cherthala, the convenor of the AMMA ad hoc committee, announced that the association would provide complete support to the actor regarding this issue.
