However, recent reports indicate that these issues have been addressed, and Veera Dheera Sooran has now officially premiered in theaters.

Veera Dheera Sooran, a highly anticipated Tamil film, encountered legal challenges that delayed its scheduled release in theaters on Thursday morning. However, Vikram's Veera Dheera Sooran has now commenced screenings for the evening shows on the same day. Directed by SU Arun Kumar, the film is produced by HR Pictures.

Veera Dheera Sooran – what caused the release delay?

Chiyaan Vikram's fans experienced a surprise on Thursday morning when it was reported that the initial screenings of his film had been canceled in various regions. The production company B4U had filed a lawsuit regarding the announcement of the film's release prior to finalizing the OTT deal, which resulted in the postponement of the screenings, according to media sources. Additionally, there were claims that the film faced a four-week ban.

Fortunately, the situation seems to have been resolved, as the filmmakers announced by the evening that the film had received clearance for screening. Evening showings of the Vikram-starrer have commenced, and fans have begun sharing videos from the theaters on social media.

The film featuring Vikram also includes performances by SJ Suryah, Malayalam actor Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Dushara Vijayan, among others. This film marks Suraj Venjaramoodu's debut in Tamil cinema.

Cinematography is managed by Theni Easwar, while editing is conducted by GK Prasanna. The music is composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar.

Another significant release from South Indian cinema on March 27 is Empuraan, which stars Malayalam superstar Mohanlal and is directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran. Suraj Venjaramoodu is also part of the cast of Empuraan, which features an impressive lineup including Tovino Thomas, Manju Warrier, Andrea Tivadar, Jerome Flynn, and Indrajith Sukumaran.
