Actors Vikram and Mohanlal are set to release their new films, Veera Dheera Sooran and L2 Empuraan, on March 27. During the promotional activities for his film, Vikram disclosed that his wife, Shailaja Balakrishnan, is an avid admirer of Mohanlal and is currently undecided about which film to view first this Thursday.

Vikram recently promoted the film in Kerala, expressing his belief that it is 'healthy' for both Veera Dheera Sooran and L2 Empuraan to be released on the same day. He also shared that his wife is an ardent admirer of the Malayalam superstar, stating, “I am a great fan of Lalettan, but my wife’s admiration surpasses mine. No matter what I accomplish, even if it is something remarkable, she always claims that Mohanlal does it better. When I inquired which film she would prefer to see first (Veera Dheera Sooran or L2 Empuraan), she replied that she intends to watch both.”
About Veera Dheera Sooran and L2 Empuraan
Veera Dheera Sooran, also known as Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2, is helmed by director SU Arun Kumar. A prequel, Part 1, is in the pipeline and has not yet commenced production. In addition to Vikram, the film features prominent roles played by Suraj, SJ Suryah, Siddique, and Dushara Vijayan, among others. This action-drama includes a musical score by GV Prakash Kumar, while the release date for the first part remains unannounced.
L2 Empuraan is directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and stars Mohanlal, who returns to his enigmatic role as Khureshi Ab'raam / Stephen Nedumpally from the 2019 film Lucifer. The cast also includes notable actors such as Prithviraj, Abhimanyu Singh, Tovino Thomas, Manju Warrier, Jerome Flynn, Indrajith, Kaarthikeyaa Dev, Kishore Kumar G, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Fazil. Plans for a third installment have been made, although production has not yet started.
