Voice artist and actor Vijay Vikram Singh, who has served as the narrator for the popular reality television series Bigg Boss for the past 15 years, has recently been subjected to death threats and harassment on social media. In light of this, Vijay has urged his fans to cease the abuse, clarifying that he is not Bigg Boss himself.
The finale of Bigg Boss 18 witnessed Karan Veer Mehra triumphing over Vivian Dsena and Rajat Dalal, securing the title in Salman Khan's reality show. The elimination of Rajat in third place during the finale ignited controversy online, with fans criticizing the producers and labelling the outcome as "fixed." Consequently, some supporters of the fitness influencer have been directing their ire towards Vijay Vikram Singh on Instagram, mistakenly believing him to be Bigg Boss.
Rajat Dalal's fans abuse Vijay Vikram Singh
In a recent post by Vijay, fans of Rajat Dalal were observed directing abusive remarks towards him and his family, including issuing death threats in response to the influencer's "unjust eviction." This situation led the actor and voice artist to disable the comment section on that particular post. A fan page dedicated to the fitness influencer stated, “You have wronged Rajat Dalal; your family and children will never find happiness.” Consequently, Vijay opted to turn off comments on the post.
When Vijay clarified he is not Bigg Boss
In December 2024, Vijay Vikram Singh addressed the matter through a video message, emphasizing that he serves solely as a narrator for Bigg Boss and is not the voice of Bigg Boss himself. He stated, "I kindly ask you to cease the abusive comments and messages directed at me. My role is to narrate the tasks and timings for the audience in Bigg Boss. I have no knowledge regarding the voice that communicates with the contestants; I cannot confirm whether it is generated by a machine or a human being. Therefore, I urge the audience to stop the abuse." Despite his clarification, he encountered another surge of hateful messages following the eviction of Digvijay Rathee. In reply, Vijay released another video message, reiterating, "I implore you to stop sending hate messages. I am the secondary voice of Bigg Boss, not Bigg Boss himself."
Vijay Vikram Singh, in addition to providing his voice for Bigg Boss, has been featured in numerous web series. He participated in the critically acclaimed series The Family Man (seasons 1 and 2) alongside Manoj Bajpayee, as well as in Kay Kay Menon's Special Ops 1.5: The Himmat Story and Kajol's The Trial.
