Hyderabad: The eagerly awaited sequel to Vidudala-1, directed by the esteemed filmmaker Vetri Maaran, is scheduled for a global release on December 20th. Titled 'Vidudala-2', the film features Vijay Sethupathi and Manju Warrier in significant roles, promising to deliver a remarkable cinematic experience. As part of its promotional campaign, the lead actors visited Hyderabad on Sunday, engaging with the media to provide insights into the film.

During the event, Vijay Sethupathi conveyed his enthusiasm for the project, stating:

Following the success of my recent film Maharaja, I am confident that this movie will also resonate with viewers. Producer Chintapalli Rama Rao, who secured the Telugu rights for the film, emphasized its distinctive qualities:  

"Although it is originally a Tamil film, Vidudala-2 is intricately connected to Telugu culture. It draws inspiration from real-life events and tackles significant issues pertinent to our region. Vetri Maaran's vision, combined with Ilaiyaraaja's music and Peter Hein's exceptional action choreography, ensures a cinematic experience unlike any other. With 257 days of shooting and 127 days focused on Vijay Sethupathi's performance, this film is set to make a significant impact in both Telugu and Tamil cinema."

Manju Warrier, who plays a crucial role, expressed her enthusiasm:
