Actor Vijay Deverakonda and his mom went to seek blessings after taking a holy dip at the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj. The Arjun Reddy star was seen at the Triveni Sangam on Sunday afternoon.

Vijay Deverakonda makes a trip to the Mahakumbh

Vijay was captured in a photo wearing a saffron dhoti and rudraksh malas, with no shirt on, hands folded, and head bowed. He was standing in the water at the sangam, while his mother Madhavi stood beside him in an orange salwar suit, also with her hands in prayer.

Vijay's trip to the Kumbh came right after the exciting teaser drop for his new movie VD12. In another snapshot from his visit, he was spotted wearing a face mask and a towel around his waist as he headed out of the sangam.

Vijay Deverakonda is the latest star from the southern film scene to take a dip in the sacred waters at the ongoing Mahakumbh in Prayagraj. On Saturday, Upasana Kamineni Konidela, Ram Charan's wife, shared some fun travel pics with her friends from their trip to Prayagraj. Before that, Miheeka Bajaj, Rana Daggubati’s wife, visited the site with her mom, Bunty Bajaj. She shared a bunch of photos and videos featuring Naga Sadhus on her Instagram, including some snaps from inside her tent and moments with her mother.

Srinidhi Shetty, known for her roles in KGF and HIT 3, also posted a ton of pictures from her journey on Instagram. She expressed, “It honestly feels like Prayag called me. I had no plans at first since I was caught up with work, but then everything just fell into place. I booked my flights, sorted out my stay, grabbed a backpack, and here I was, navigating through the crowds. My dad was totally on board with my last-minute plans, and this was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, so no questions asked. It’s a memory I’ll cherish forever.”
