Aryan Khan, the son of Shah Rukh Khan, has chosen a different path from his sister, Suhana Khan, as he does not intend to pursue a career in acting. Instead, he is preparing to make his debut in Bollywood as a director and creator with his forthcoming series, Stardom. The project was announced by Netflix and Red Chillies Entertainment last November. Recently, a video surfaced on social media showcasing Aryan as he explains a scene to his crew members on set.

A fan club dedicated to Shah Rukh Khan shared the video, which features Aryan Khan guiding the crew while detailing a scene for Stardom. The accompanying caption stated, "#AryanKhan video from the sets of his debut directorial project Stardom, which is all set to stream on Netflix later this year. Aryan is looking so serious." In the footage, Aryan is seen wearing a loose T-shirt from his own fashion label, D’YAVOL X, paired with beige trousers.

Regarding Aryan Khan's directorial debut, Stardom is set within the context of the Indian film industry and chronicles the experiences of an ambitious outsider as they navigate the complexities of Bollywood. The six-episode series is expected to feature cameo appearances from notable figures such as Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Badshah, and Bobby Deol. Aryan completed filming for the series in May of the previous year, and it is anticipated to premiere on Netflix this year.

In April of last year, a source informed Hindustan Times that Mona Singh had been cast in a significant role in Aryan Khan's project. “It’s a very interesting project, and she is getting to do something really different. The series will present her in a unique avatar, and she is thoroughly enjoying her time working on set with Aryan,” the source disclosed.

In a discussion regarding the distinctions between directing a television series and functioning as a fashion creative and entrepreneur, Aryan Khan shared with GQ India, "Both roles offer unique creative stimulation. In my capacity as the creative director of the brand, I am responsible for shooting advertisements and supervising photoshoots. My involvement in the creative process is substantial; however, I am less engaged with logistical aspects. Conversely, as a director, I must attend to every detail, shot, and angle."
