The trailer of Vijay’s The GOAT- Greatest of All Time, has exceeded expectations, with many fans waiting for the release on September 5. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, the trailer had a direct reference to the filmmaker’s earlier film with Ajith, Mankatha, which has amused a lot of audience, especially how Vijay and Ajith are always pitted against each other as competitors. Now, in the latest, we have come to know that Ajith’s upcoming film Good Bad Ugly will have a reference to Vijay.

Vijay reference in Good Bad Ugly

In the trailer of The GOAT, Vijay utters a dialogue, “Inimey kudikavey kudadhu” (One should not drink ever again). This dialogue first came in Mankatha and was said by Ajith. The scene from the trailer has piqued the excitement of both the fan bases. Now, Mankatha filmmaker Venkat Prabhu who is directing The GOAT, also revealed that there will be reference to Vijay in Ajith’s upcoming film Good Bad Ugly.

In an interview, Venkat Prabhu said that very similar to how Vijay said a dialogue once said by Ajith, the latter’s upcoming film will also feature a similar tribute. However the filmmaker further go on to reveal that Ajith’s upcoming film will have a reference to Vijay, by having a dialogue uttered the latter.

Venkat Prabhu has also expressed how he wants to do a film with both the stars. "I am always ready to do a film with them. I am not sure how it will happen, but both of them know. They have massive respect and love towards each other. I have seen them in close quarters, and they have genuine liking towards each other.

The GOAT is scheduled to release on September 5 in theatres. The film has been censored U/A and has a runtime of three hours. Prashanth, Prabhudheva, Mohan, Sneha, Laila, Yogi Babu, Premgi, Vaibhav, Ajmal Ameer, Jayaram, Meenakshi Chaudhary, and others are part of the cast.
