Actor Veer Pahariya made his acting debut in the recent aerial action film, Sky Force. While the movie garnered positive reviews, some critics expressed dissatisfaction with Veer's performance. He faced considerable trolling online, with comments directed at both his acting and dancing abilities. In a recent interview, Veer remarked that the trolling ultimately benefited him by enhancing his visibility on social media.

Veer Pahariya on trolls

In a conversation with Hauterrfly, Veer expressed that he embraces the trolling experience. Referring to his viral dance move from the song Rang, he stated, “I enjoy it; it is part of my life. Throughout my life, I have admired actors who are trolled and have become memes. Now, I have become a meme myself; it is quite surreal. Who knew me just 20 days ago? Now, if I perform a langdi here, people will recognize me.”

The actor noted that the trolling has significantly boosted his social media engagement, leading to increased opportunities for public performances. “I will share this for the first time. Since my song went viral and attracted trolling, my engagement has surged, opening numerous doors for me. I have already performed at two weddings, where I did the langdi step with the bride. I even joked with the groom, saying, ‘This is my fifth round. If I do two more, the bride will be mine.’ Many opportunities have arisen because people are now aware of who I am. I have a hit song and the chance to perform at weddings, which is a dream for every actor. To those who troll me, I hope they continue, as it will lead to even more wedding gigs and income,” Veer added.

Veer's Bollywood debut

In Sky Force, Veer portrayed an Indian Air Force officer trapped behind enemy lines. The film, set against the backdrop of the Sargodha airbase during the Indo-Pak War of 1965, featured notable actors such as Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan, and Nimrat Kaur. Although critics praised Sky Force, it did not perform well at the box office, grossing ₹167 crore.
