Veer Pahariya takes another look at his famous dance move

The actor hopped on Instagram this Tuesday to drop a fun video with the caption, “This Holi, don’t kickstart your bike—Kickstart the vibe.”

In the clip, made for boAt and Swiggy Instamart, Veer is right in the middle of a vibrant Holi celebration. As guests roll in, they excitedly encourage him to show off his famous dance move, and before long, even the waiter and a sweet elderly couple are joining in to make their own reels. But when someone has a tough time nailing the step, Veer steps in to lift the mood. The scene then transitions to him ordering some new speakers, and with the music cranked up, he launches into a fresh dance routine.

Fans, like actor Janhvi Kapoor and Veer's brother Shikhar Pahariya, are totally loving the clever twist he added to his viral dance move. One fan commented, “Marketing 101,” while Janhvi chimed in with, “Omg tooooo good dying,” and Shikhar just had to drop a laughing emoji.

“THAT’S THE BEST ICONIC STEP,” exclaimed one user, with another adding, “Omg, verryy killerre.”

One person credited the original creator of the hook step, tagging @veerpahariya, and another simply said, “This was fun.”

Get ready to deal with some trolling

Veer kicked off his Bollywood career with Akshay Kumar in Sky Force. Since then, the internet has been having a field day roasting him with memes and comments on his viral clips. In a chat with Hauterrfly, Veer mentioned that he actually enjoys being trolled. Talking about his viral dance move from the song Rang, he said, “I love it; I live for it. I’ve always admired actors who get trolled and become memes. Now I’m one of them; can you believe it? I’m basically immortalized with this dance. Who even knew me 20 days ago? Now if I do langdi here, people will recognize me.”

He went on to say, “I’ll share this for the first time. Ever since my song dropped and went viral, my engagement has skyrocketed, opening up so many new opportunities for me. I’ve already performed at two weddings, doing that langdi step with the bride. I even joked with the groom, saying, ‘This is my fifth round. If I do two more, the bride will be mine.’ So many doors have opened because people now know who I am. I’ve got a hit song and the chance to perform at weddings, which is a dream for every actor. To those who are trolling, I hope they keep it up so I can get even more wedding gigs and make some cash!"
