Vedang Raina is currently gearing up for one of the most awaited films of the year - Jigra. This is his second movie after debuting with Zoya Akhtar's The Archies. The actor will be seen playing Alia Bhatt's younger brother in the movie and the trailer, which was released a few days ago has already been garnering a lot of attention. While the film is nearing its release date, Vedang, in a recent interview talked about how it was not easy for him to prepare for his role in the film.

Vedang Raina on Jigra

Vedang Raina recently revealed that working on Jigra was not easy for him in an interview with Mansworld. He also mentioned that his first day of shooting involved an emotionally intense scene and he had to isolate himself in his vanity, put the lights off and even ask the people to leave him alone.

He said, "I sat there listening to my music. Now, as luck would have it, the shot was supposed to happen at 3pm but got delayed and we started rolling around 8 pm. So, I was in that self-imposed solitary confinement for about 8 long hours, and it really started impacting me."

Vedang's character in the film is imprisoned in a foreign jail and goes through life's most difficult situations according to what is shown in the trailer. The actor revealed that he could not get out of the zone of his character even after 2-3 hours of the shoot and then realised that things could not work this way. He also stated that he has decided to never put himself in such an experience again as he feels it wasn't worth it. "I believe there are other ways to access that emotion, I just need to find which one works for me the best," he added.
