Bollywood star Varun Dhawan is in full swing promoting his new movie, Baby John. While he's juggling work, his personal life is also grabbing attention. Varun and his wife Natasha Dalal became parents to their first child, a baby girl named Lara, in June 2024. Recently, he opened up about being a girl dad and shared how becoming a father has totally shifted his perspective.

Varun Dhawan talks about his experience as a dad to a daughter.

In a recent conversation with Zoom, Varun Dhawan shared that his first thought after Natasha welcomed their daughter Lara was, "How could I have ever been harsh to my dad? Who can talk badly to their mom, who carried them for nine months—especially after witnessing everything Natasha has done for our little one?"

When asked about his life after becoming a dad to a daughter, the Baby John actor shared, "There's something special about being a father, especially to a girl. It’s a totally different experience. It really shakes you up and makes you realize how your perspective shifts. All those lessons your mom taught you as a kid start flooding back into your mind."

Varun also mentioned that having his daughter has taught him a lot and helped him understand what it really means to be a man. He noted that the line from his film Baby John, “come on, show me what you’ve got for my daughter,” came straight from his heart.

Baby John is an exciting action drama on the way, directed by Kalees. Varun Dhawan takes the lead role in this thrilling film, which also features Keerthy Suresh making her Hindi cinema debut, along with Wamiqa Gabbi, Zara Zyanna, and Jackie Shroff. The movie is set to release in theaters on December 25, 2024.
