Kalees is back with Baby John, an action-packed thriller inspired by Atlee's 2016 Tamil flick, Theri. The movie is a collaboration between Jio Studios, Cine1 Studios, and A for Apple Productions. Varun Dhawan takes the lead role, while Keerthy Suresh makes her Hindi film debut alongside Wamiqa Gabbi, Zara Zyanna, and Jackie Shroff, who plays the main villain.

DCP Satya Verma IPS, who goes by Baby John, stages his own death and goes into hiding in Kerala with his daughter Khushi after facing a personal loss. However, when his rival Babbar Sher discovers that he’s still alive, the past starts to catch up with him.
