Actor Varun Dhawan recently discussed his six-month-old daughter, Lara, and expressed his feelings of disappointment regarding a particular moment. In an interview with Agenda Aaj Tak, Varun mentioned that Lara has "just started eating solid food," and he regretted not being present to witness this milestone for the first time.
Varun talks about his wife, daughter
Varun is married to Natasha Dalal. He remarked, "My wife is more intimidating. A woman's protective instinct intensifies after giving birth. To me, she embodies the role of a superhero, and I am learning from her. Unfortunately, I have not had the opportunity to spend time with my child. My baby has just begun to eat solid foods, and Natasha shared a video of this milestone with me. I felt quite disheartened that I could not be present for that moment."
The actor also discussed the division of parenting responsibilities with Natasha. When inquired about his experience with diaper changes, Varun stated, "I was already adept at it due to my dog, Joey." Dhawan and Natasha exchanged vows in a private ceremony in 2021 and welcomed their first child on June 3 of this year.
Varun recently too spoke about his daughter
Recently, the news agency PTI reported on Varun's reflections regarding his daughter. He stated, "The experience of fatherhood, particularly to a daughter, is profoundly transformative. It alters your viewpoint. Upon becoming a father, I was reminded of my mother's lessons and came to understand how I could have ever been disrespectful to her, especially after witnessing the care my wife, Natasha Dalal, provides for our daughter. It has been an extraordinary journey."

Fans can look forward to Varun's next appearance in the forthcoming film, Baby John, which is an adaptation of Atlee's 2016 Tamil movie Theri, featuring Vijay and Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
