Jr NTR has officially begun production on what is anticipated to be the most significant film of his career, under the direction of Prashanth Neel, known for his work on KGF and Salaar. Filming commenced recently in Hyderabad, featuring pivotal scenes with thousands of junior artists at Ramoji Film City. Tentatively titled Dragon, this action-packed drama is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers in collaboration with NTR Arts, the latter being owned by Jr NTR’s brother, Kalyan Ram.

Urvashi Rautela making big strides in her career

Recent reports from the film industry indicate that Prashanth Neel has reached out to the well-known actress and social media influencer Urvashi Rautela for a prominent role in the film. Renowned for her glamorous image and viral social media presence, Urvashi is rumored to be in negotiations for this project. While insiders have neither confirmed nor denied these claims, speculation regarding her participation continues to intensify.

Jr NTR's upcoming collaboration with Prashanth Neel has officially commenced. Typically, Prashanth Neel’s films feature a male-centric narrative with limited roles for female characters. It will be intriguing to see what type of role Urvashi may be offered should she officially join the cast. She is currently enjoying the success of her latest film, Daaku Maharaaj, which is trending on Netflix, and she garnered attention for her striking appearance at the India vs. Pakistan match in Dubai.

In the meantime, Jr NTR is focused on completing his Bollywood debut in War 2, where he stars alongside Hrithik Roshan. Following the conclusion of this project, he is expected to join Neel’s film in March 2025.
