Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela has generated significant attention online with her recent statement. She claims that there is already a temple honoring her in Uttarakhand and has now expressed her wish to establish another one in South India.

During In a discussion with Siddharth Kannan, Urvashi revealed that there is a temple dedicated to her in Uttarakhand, situated adjacent to the Badrinath temple. She stated, “There is a temple named after me in Uttarakhand. If one visits Badrinath, they will find the ‘Urvashi temple’ right beside it.”

When the host inquired whether people visit the temple to seek blessings, Urvashi chuckled and replied, “Well, it is a temple, so that is what they will do.”

Siddharth then asked if she had witnessed individuals requesting her blessings, to which she responded, “Who actually shouts out for blessings?”

She further mentioned that people do pray at the temple, noting that students at Delhi University also pray to her and present garlands to her images. Urvashi indicated that they affectionately call her ‘Damdamamai.’

“I am serious about this. It is indeed true. There are news articles that discuss it as well. You can look them up,” Urvashi stated.

Throughout the conversation, Urvashi, who is actively involved in various regional film industries, expressed her aspiration to have a temple in her honor established in South India as well.

Meanwhile, Urvashi was last featured in a dance sequence in the film Jaat, starring Sunny Deol and Randeep Hooda. The song, named Sorry Bol, has received a variety of responses from viewers. Some praised Urvashi's choreography, while others noted similarities between the song's melody and that of Tip Tip Barsa Paani. The movie, which includes performances by Regina Cassandra, Vineet Kumar Singh, and Saiyami Kher, premiered in theaters on April 10. Although the film garnered mixed reviews, it performed reasonably well at the box office. A sequel to the film has been announced.
