I even performed special songs in his films, such as Company and Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag."

Urmila stated that Ram Gopal Varma is among the most distinguished filmmakers in the industry. The actress mentioned that Sriram Raghavan, Madhu Mantena, and Anurag Kashyap attended the screening of the re-release of Satya, as they all began their careers alongside RGV.

The actress further recalled how Rangeela made her a huge start and Satya made her unlearn that. Urmila said she was the only known face in the 1998 film while the rest were 'talented newcomers'. The actress revealed that RGV believes that she can pull off the film.

Urmila discussed her character, stating that Vidya lacked an independent identity. She expressed that the character's significance was solely derived from her proximity to Satya. "Embodying the girl-next-door persona posed a significant challenge. I recall utilizing my mother’s old saris, which she was about to discard, as I believed they were ideal for the role," she reminisced.

In the meantime, Satya can be streamed on SonyLIV and OTTplay Premium.
