Udit Narayan shares a new video where he's seen kissing his female fans
On Wednesday, a user on X (formerly Twitter) posted a clip of fans flocking to Narayan for selfies after his concert. The singer, looking sharp in a blue suit, was seen interacting with his fans and even blowing kisses to a few of the ladies. At one point, he shared a kiss on the lips with a woman, who responded with laughter.
The video sparked a flurry of reactions on social media. One user commented, “He is unstoppable.” Another pointed out that Narayan seemed to overlook a male fan who was trying to get a selfie, saying, “One guy was asking for a selfie, and he didn’t care.” Someone else joked, “Kissing selfies are the new trend,” while another added, “He is going crazy.”
Udit tackles the controversy
Narayan has faced backlash for his actions before. A while back, a clip of him kissing female fans during his performance of the popular song Tip Tip Barsa Paani from Mohra went viral, sparking mixed reactions from the audience. In an interview with HT City, Narayan addressed the situation, saying, “I’ve been in Bollywood for 46 years, and I’ve never had a reputation for forcing kisses on fans. I actually show my appreciation by folding my hands when I see the love from my fans. When I’m on stage, I bow down, thinking this moment might never happen again.”
Singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya also stood up for Narayan in an interview with News18, saying, “He’s Udit Narayan! Girls were all over him; he never pulled anyone in. I’m sure his wife is always there when he performs. Let him enjoy his fame! He’s a romantic singer, a big player, and I’m just a novice. Don’t mess with him.”
