Tyra Banks is sharing her thoughts on her choice to leave the U.S. and start a new life in Australia with her partner Louis Bélanger-Martin and their 9-year-old son, York Banks Asla. While guest co-hosting on Monday's episode of Today with Jenna & Friends, the 51-year-old described her life in Sydney as a “dream come true.”

"I run an ice cream business called SMiZE and Dream," Banks shared with host Jenna Bush Hager. "I've been traveling to Australia quite a bit since we produce a lot of our ice cream there in a large facility, working on our recipes," she continued.

The former supermodel expressed her enthusiasm, saying, "I just fell in love with it. Every time I returned, I felt more at home... and it turns out the top three countries for ice cream consumption are America, New Zealand, and Australia." She added, "I thought, 'I’m happy here, and they love ice cream, so why not make this a family affair?' And that’s exactly what we did."

During the segment, Banks gave a glimpse into her daily life in Australia. "Good morning! Welcome to my home in Sydney. It’s 6:30 a.m., which means it’s coffee time," she said in a video shot in her kitchen.

After enjoying a few sips of her coffee, she mentioned that Tumbalong Park is "one of my favorite spots." "People from all over Sydney come to enjoy this park," she noted.

"They have a mini water park, swings for the kids, and a new area for older kids that’s so fun, you might have trouble getting your child to leave. So just a heads up when you visit," Banks added.

She also shared, "One of the best things about Sydney is the stunning views, and we get to travel by ferry. This is the beautiful Sydney Harbour at night." "Living in Australia has truly been a dream come true for my family and me," she concluded.
