A video circulating on social media has falsely asserted that Kannada actor Yash recently attended the Mahakumbh with his wife, Radhika Pandit, and their children. This misinformation was based on an old video of Yash and his family, which was filmed in Mumbai last year.

Yash at Mahakumbh?

A user shared the video on X (formerly Twitter), stating, “Yash reaches MahaKumbh with Family," and noted that southern celebrities were also visiting the Mela. The video's caption echoed this claim, suggesting that the actor was seen arriving in Prayagraj to participate in the ongoing Mahakumbh Mela. In the footage, Yash is seen carrying his son while Radhika walks beside him.

In reality

In truth, the video was recorded in Mumbai in November 2024, during a time when Yash and Radhika were out with their children following his filming for the upcoming movie Toxic. Despite the inaccuracies, many viewers appeared to accept the claims, leaving comments praising Yash as ‘great.’

However, some individuals pointed out the reality, with one commenter stating, “The video is from November 2024 last year during his film shooting in Mumbai...You should be shameless!” A report from PTI Fact Check also verified that the video being shared on social media was indeed old and that the actor was not present in Prayagraj.

Celebrities at Mahakumbh

A multitude of celebrities have participated in a sacred immersion at the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj during the Mahakumbh festival. Among those present were Srinidhi Shetty, Yash's co-star, and Vijay Deverakonda, known for his role in Arjun Reddy, along with various other stars. Recently, Katrina Kaif and Akshay Kumar were seen attending the Mahakumbh on Monday. Additionally, Vicky Kaushal, Preity Zinta, and numerous other actors shared images of their visit to the site following their holy dip.
