Prabhas who was last seen in Telugu film Kalki 2898 AD, has an exciting line-up of films and one of them is with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Titled Spirit, the film is scheduled to go on floors from January 2025. As per the latest buzz, actor Trisha is said to be cast opposite Prabhas in the film.

Trisha in Prabhas’ Spirit?

We had already reported that director Sandeep Reddy Vanga who has made outrageous films like Animal and Arjun Reddy, will be collaborating with actor Prabhas for a film titled Spirit. Now, the latest about the project is that actor Trisha who starred alongside Prabhas in films like Varsham and Pournami, will be pairing up once again for the upcoming film. However, an official announcement on the same has not yet been made.

Touted to be an action thriller, the film is expected to have Prabhas play dual roles, as both protagonist and antagonist. If it is indeed true, it will mark the first time Prabhas is taking up a negative role in his career so far. Made on a huge scale with budget over Rs 300 crore, the filming is scheduled to take place for over two years. A release date for the film is yet to be announced.

Trisha’s latest series Brinda

Meanwhile, Trisha was last seen in web series Brinda, which marks her debut in OTT space. The series is currently available for streaming on SonyLIV and alternatively can be found on OTTplay Premium as well. The cop thriller will feature Trisha playing the lead titular character in khaki. Directed by Surya Manoj Vangala, the series consists of eight episodes and opened to positive reception.

Trisha is also part of Tamil films Vidaamuyarchi with Ajith and Thug Life with Kamal Haasan. The actor is also part of upcoming Malayalam film Identity starring Tovino Thomas in the lead role. She also has Telugu film Vishwambara with veteran actor Chiranjeevi.
