About Vidaamuyarchi

Vidaamuyarchi is inspired by the 1997 American film Breakdown, narrating the tale of a man who embarks on a rescue mission after his wife is abducted by a notorious group in Azerbaijan. Filming commenced in 2023 and concluded in 2024, prior to Ajith Kumar's engagement in his racing career. Although initially slated for a Pongal release, the film's debut was delayed. It has garnered mixed reviews from both critics and audiences.

Ajith is set to appear in Adhik Ravichandran's Good Bad Ugly and has not yet disclosed any additional projects, as he is currently focused on his racing endeavors. Trisha, who also features in Good Bad Ugly, will be seen in Mani Ratnam's Thug Life and Suriya's untitled Surya 45 directed by RJ Balaji. She is also set to star in the Malayalam film Ram. Regina will appear in Gopichand Malineni's Jaat, Rashik Khan's Section 108 in Hindi, and Don Sandy's Flashback in Tamil.
