During the latest episode of his New Heights podcast, the Kansas City Chiefs player praised his girlfriend as a “pro” at initiating conversations with new acquaintances. The 35-year-old offered this heartfelt compliment while his friends and podcast guests, Brandon Borders and Jake Chatzky, reminisced about their recent encounter with the Cruel Summer artist in the VIP box at Arrowhead Stadium.

Borders, known to the viewers of New Heights as “Intern Brandon,” recounted his experience with Swift, stating, “We entered the room, and — I will reveal this — she recognized us by name right away.” Expressing his excitement over the pop star's recognition, he remarked, “It was like, ‘Oh my God. Brandon, Jake, finally!’ We were completely taken aback.”

As the intern shared how Swift's warm demeanour “shook” and “threw” him and Chatzky “immediately,” Kelce interjected, “She knows how to break the ice. She truly does,” further commenting, “She is quite skilled at it.” Borders humorously suggested that the Midnights singer “probably sensed that Jake and I were quite nervous.” “She was probably thinking, ‘I’m detecting a lot of middle school dance vibes from these two,’” he added.

Brandon further noted that Taylor Swift was “very complimentary of the show,” to which Kelce responded, “Nice,” adding, “She tunes in every week.” “She offered us some creative praise,” Brandon continued, emphasizing, “Let me be perfectly clear. You cannot tell me anything for the rest of my life.”

“I’m going to be insufferable. I mean, do you know who you’re talking to? We’re conducting performance reviews at work, and let me tell you right now. I’m not going to heed a single word for the next six years,” the intern humorously concluded before expressing his appreciation to Kelce.
