Reports indicate that some spectators experienced throat irritation and nausea as a result of the spray.

In response to the alarming situation, theatre management promptly halted the screening for approximately 20 minutes to allow for ventilation and to address the health concerns of those affected. Videos circulating on social media captured the chaos, showing patrons fleeing their seats amidst the commotion. Once the air cleared and order was restored, the screening resumed.

The incident has prompted an investigation by local authorities, with theatre management filing a complaint and police detaining suspects for questioning. Speculation surrounds whether this act was a deliberate attempt to disrupt the screening due to personal grievances against the film.

This disruption comes on the heels of another tragic event linked to Pushpa 2 on its premiere day, a stampede occurred outside a theatre in Hyderabad during Allu Arjun's arrival, resulting in one woman's death and injuries to others.

Despite these unsettling occurrences, Pushpa 2: The Rule continues to shine at the box office, reportedly breaking records with an impressive opening day collection exceeding Rs 200 crore. The film's popularity seems undeterred by these unfortunate events, as fans eagerly flock to theatres nationwide to witness Allu Arjun's latest cinematic triumph
