Kiara Advani's salary for Toxic

According to Bollywood Hungama, Kiara, who is set to share the screen with Yash in the eagerly awaited global blockbuster Toxic, has reportedly secured a salary of Rs. 15 crore. This milestone reinforces her status as one of the most sought-after leading actresses in the industry. By finalizing this agreement, she further establishes her standing among the top tier of Indian cinema, alongside renowned figures such as Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.

In the upcoming film featuring Priyanka alongside Mahesh Babu, directed by SS Rajamouli, it is reported that the actress will receive a remuneration of Rs. 30 crore. In contrast, Deepika Padukone earned Rs. 20 crore for her role in Kalki 2898 AD, which also included performances by Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan. Additionally, with her role in Toxic, Kiara has established herself as one of the highest-paid female actors in the industry.

Kiara Advani's bankability and box office success

Recognized as one of the most commercially successful female actors in the nation, she has solidified her status through a series of consecutive box office successes across various film genres. The forthcoming gangster film, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, is both penned and helmed by Geetu Mohandas. Featuring Yash and Nayanthara in leading roles, the movie has been filmed in both Kannada and English simultaneously. The cast also includes Huma Qureshi, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Darrell D'Silva, and Akshay Oberoi.

Toxic release date postponement

Yash and Venkat K. Narayana are collaborating on this project through their individual production companies, KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations.

As this marks Yash's 19th feature film, the official title was revealed shortly after the project's announcement in December 2023, with the working title being Yash 19. The score for the title announcement was created by Jeremy Stack, and cinematography was managed by Rajeev Ravi.

Due to production challenges, the release of Toxic has been delayed from its initially scheduled date of April 10, 2025.

In addition to her role in Toxic, she will also appear alongside Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR in the much-anticipated War 2. Kiara consistently showcases her versatility and strong on-screen presence across a range of genres, including romance, action, drama, and thriller.
