Tina Ahuja reflects on her father, Govinda, and his character
Tina Ahuja shared her experiences regarding her weight gain, attributing it to health issues, and reminisced about her father's strict views on her physique. "During my teenage years, my father was very concerned about my figure and weight. He would often advise me to lose weight, saying my stomach was becoming prominent. I recall a trip to Switzerland for a shoot he was involved in. I developed a fondness for the milk there. While he was busy with the shoot, I indulged in milk and hot chocolate, and by the time we travelled to London from Switzerland, my pants no longer fit. He believed that girls should maintain their beauty and weight."
She also mentioned that she would discuss her weight gain with her father, who guided her in taking gradual steps towards weight loss. Tina previously disclosed in an interview that a severe nerve spasm resulting from an accident contributed to her significant weight increase. She made her Bollywood debut in 2015, starring alongside Punjabi actor Gippy Grewal and Dharmendra in the romantic-comedy "Second Hand Husband." However, she has not appeared in any other projects since then.
