Timothée Chalamet gets a fine
The photograph of Timothée's arrival at the red carpet event gained significant attention online. He made his entrance at the London premiere on an electric Lime bike. As reported by Variety, the actor failed to park the bike correctly, resulting in a fine of £65 (approximately $79).
Timothée provided this update while promoting the film on the French talk show Quotidien.
“It’s ecological!” he remarked when questioned about his choice to ride a bike to the film's premiere. The actor explained that his decision was primarily motivated by the desire to avoid traffic congestion. He opted for the bike instead of a car to ensure he arrived on time.
“There was a traffic jam, and I wasn’t allowed to park there, and I got a £65 fine. And actually, it’s horrible because it was an advert for them,” he further elaborated.
However, the exact nature of the actor’s fine remains unclear as Lime’s penalty structure runs from 2 pounds to 20 pounds, with no penalties for first-time offences.
