YouTuber and comedian Samay Raina has postponed his upcoming tour in India due to the ongoing controversy surrounding India's Got Latent. He informed his followers of this change via his Instagram Stories, assuring those who purchased tickets that they would receive refunds.

In his message, Samay stated, "Hello everyone, I am rescheduling my India tour. Refunds will be processed shortly, and I look forward to seeing you soon (folded hands and red heart emojis)." This decision to delay the tour comes in light of the legal issues he faces for allegedly promoting obscenity and vulgarity through his show, India's Got Latent.

Understanding the India's Got Latent controversy  

The controversy erupted earlier this month when an FIR was filed against Apoorva Mukhija, YouTubers Ashish Chanchlani, Ranveer Allahbadia, Samay, and others linked to India's Got Latent show. The FIR alleges that they promoted obscenity and engaged in sexually explicit discussions during the publicly available YouTube program.

Ashish Chanchlani and Ranveer Allahbadia have already reached out to the Maharashtra Cyber Cell to provide their statements regarding the issue. Reports indicate that the Maharashtra cyber police have summoned over 30 individuals for questioning following the FIR. However, Samay, who hosted the India's Got Latent show, has not yet given his statement to the authorities.

The show faced criticism after Ranveer made inappropriate comments during an episode. He posed a controversial question to a contestant, asking, "Would you rather watch your parents have sex or join in once and stop it forever?" This remark quickly went viral, drawing significant backlash from social media users.
