Joe Exotic, whose real name is Joseph Maldonado-Passage, has tied the knot with fellow inmate Jorge Marquez, according to TMZ. The star of Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness announced the news on X this Tuesday, sharing a pic of them in matching black tuxes and white hats.

I'm so proud of my husband Jorge Flores Maldonado! Joe shared. At 62, he's a former zookeeper now serving 21 years for a murder-for-hire scheme against animal rights activist Carole Baskin. Joe got sentenced in January 2020 for breaking federal wildlife laws and for his part in a failed plot against Baskin, who runs a big cat rescue in Florida, as reported by AP. The news of his marriage to Jorge comes just six months after he announced his engagement to the 33-year-old Mexican national, who is in jail for immigration issues, back in October 2024.

'Meet Jorge Marquez, 33. He's incredible and from Mexico. Now, we're on a mission to get married in prison and figure out his asylum, or we might leave America when we both get out,' Joe wrote then. 'I really wish I had met him sooner,' he added in an X post with a photo of him and his fiancé. Joe was previously married to Dillon Passage, but they split in 2020. Joe and Dillon got married in December 2017, just two months after Joe's previous husband, Travis Maldonado, tragically passed away from an accidental shooting.
