On the occasion of Balakrishna Nandamuri receiving the Padma Bhushan award, prominent figures from the Telugu film industry gathered at the residence of the esteemed actor-politician to extend their congratulations. Balakrishna, a celebrated actor, Hindupur MLA, and Chairman of Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital, has made significant contributions to the Telugu film sector.

Among those present were P Bharat Bhushan, President of the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce; K L Damodar Prasad, Secretary; Tummala Prasanna Kumar, Treasurer; as well as K L Damodar Prasad, President of the Telugu Film Producers Council; Tummala Prasanna Kumar, Secretary; Madala Ravi, Vice President of the Movie Artist Association; K Anupam Reddy, Secretary of the Telangana State Film Chamber of Commerce; Vallabhaneni Anil Kumar, President of the Telugu Film Industry Employees Federation; K Ammiraju, Secretary; V Suresh, Treasurer; Umarji Anuradha, Secretary of the Telugu Cine Writers Association; K Ammiraju, President of the Telugu Cine Production Executives Union; Vallabhaneni Anil Kumar, President of Chitrapuri Hills and Secretary of the Telugu Cine and TV Junior Artists Union; V Suresh, Secretary of the Telugu Cine and TV Outdoor Unit Technicians Union; Ramesh Raja, Treasurer of the Telugu Cine Stunt Directors & Stunt Artists Union; along with representatives from ten other associations and unions within the industry, all came together to honor Nandamuri Balakrishna.

They presented him with shawls and expressed their heartfelt wishes. They announced that the Telugu film industry would soon organize a grand event to celebrate Nandamuri Balakrishna.

During the gathering, they remarked, “It is a matter of great pride that Nandamuri Balakrishna Garu has received this award not only as an actor but also in recognition of his contributions to the film industry and his service initiatives.”

In response, Padma Bhushan Nandamuri Balakrishna expressed his gratitude, stating, “This award is an honour not only for me and my family but for the Telugu film industry as a whole. It brings with it an increased sense of responsibility.”
