When the tickets for Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter Tour were initially released, the Ticketmaster website experienced a crash. Nevertheless, despite the initial excitement, a report from The Independent indicates that there are still thousands of unsold tickets for the concert, which is set to begin in under two weeks.

Thousands of tickets for Beyonce's concert still unsold

The official Ticketmaster website indicates that the opening night of the tour, scheduled for April 28 in Los Angeles, still has more than 3,200 seats available for purchase. Standard tickets for this event start at $85, while resale tickets are listed from as low as $35, suggesting a decrease in ticket prices. Furthermore, the last two nights of the tour in the same West Coast city each have over 3,800 standard tickets still up for sale.

The situation on the East Coast appears similarly bleak, with over 5,500 tickets remaining unsold for her performance at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. This particular show was added as an additional date due to anticipated demand, making the low sales figures unexpected. In Georgia, the concert in Atlanta, scheduled for July 14, has more than 5,800 unsold tickets, with over 50% of the premium floor seats—offering the best views of the artist—still available. Despite these figures, Live Nation stated to Billboard that 94% of tickets for the Cowboy Carter tour have been sold. Additionally, two new dates have been announced in Las Vegas, increasing the total number of tour stops to 32.

Fans express disappointment

Fans voiced their dissatisfaction on X regarding the experience of purchasing tickets during the presale, only to witness a significant drop in prices afterward. One user lamented, “I’m among those who ended up with costly nosebleed presale tickets, and it’s disheartening to see so many blue dots indicating unsold tickets for the initial dates. I even recorded a video to illustrate this.” Another user commented, “In the future, if Beyoncé sends me a presale code for a tour, I will disregard it. It’s frustrating that floor seats are now much cheaper than the standing seats I purchased, and Ticketmaster won’t allow me to exchange them.” A third user remarked, “With 88,000 tickets remaining unsold, it’s no surprise she’s now giving them away for free.”
