Vicky Kaushal's film Chhaava premiered in theaters last week and is performing exceptionally well at the box office. Directed by Laxman Utekar, this biopic portrays the life of Maratha ruler Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, a role played by Vicky. A fan from Nagpur made a remarkable entrance to a screening by arriving on horseback, dressed as the Maratha leader. He was accompanied by a group of men playing traditional dhols and chanting slogans as the film's end credits rolled. This incident has since gained significant attention on social media, eliciting various reactions.

During the screening, the individual was seen enthusiastically shouting "Jai Bhavani!" while mounted on the horse, surrounded by others playing dhols. Many attendees joined in the chanting, capturing the moment on their mobile devices.

In response to the viral video, one user humorously remarked, “I can’t even bring a packet of chips into the theater, yet this person brought a horse!” Another user suggested, “Next time, bring the famous lion that Sambhaji fought as well.”

One comment expressed frustration: “You can bring a horse inside, but I can't even carry my D-Mart popcorn? This is quite unfair.” Another user reflected, “While I respect those who fought against oppressive Mughal and British rule, why do we often turn such events into a spectacle? It seems we prefer reminiscing about the past due to uncertainty about the future.”

In Chhaava, Vicky Kaushal portrays Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, with Rashmika Mandanna as his wife, Yesubai Bhonsale. Akshaye Khanna takes on the role of Aurangzeb, while Diana Penty plays his daughter, Zinat-un-Nissa Begum. The film's music and background score were composed by AR Rahman, and it has grossed over ₹140 crore within just four days of its release.
