Director Srikanth Odela's film The Paradise, featuring Nani, is reportedly 'on the right track,' according to the team, despite recent rumors about financial issues. The movie's official X (formerly Twitter) account shared a bold message, labeling those spreading 'baseless hate' as 'clowns' and 'rabid dogs.'
The Paradise team stands up against trolls
Recently, there have been discussions about The Paradise team struggling financially, with some suggesting that Nani might not have the audience to support a film of this scale.
In response to the rumors, the team took to X to clarify, saying, “To all the clowns out there, you thrive on our news... because we allow it. #TheParadise is shining bright. Rest assured, it’s on the right path, and you’ll see it soon. In the meantime, keep feeding on us as much as you want. Because... 'Gajaraju nadiste..Gajji kukkalu arustayi..' (When the elephant walks, rabid dogs bark).”
They also mentioned that they’ve been noticing a lot of unfounded negativity directed at the film, asserting that The Paradise will be “one of the greatest films” in Tollywood. “While we’re grateful for all the love, we’re also aware of the baseless hate coming our way. We’ll channel both the love and the hate into an ENERGY that will propel #TheParadise to be one of the finest films from TFI,” the team stated.
They wrapped up their message with, “To all the tweeters and feeders - Get well soon, you clowns :) And to our supporters, all our teams are working hard to create a new world for you. We promise to deliver a film we can all be proud of.”
All About The Paradise
Paradise marks the second collaboration between Srikanth and Nani, following the director's debut film Dasara in 2023. A sneak peek of the movie was unveiled in March, showcasing Nani in a fresh look, quite different from his typical family-oriented roles. He sports Dutch braids and a bold tattoo that roughly translates to ‘son of a b***h’. Produced by SLV Cinemas, the film is set to hit theaters on March 26, 2026.
