Hollywood Reporter India has just rolled out its much-awaited Women in Entertainment – Power List 2025, a pioneering effort aimed at celebrating the remarkable women who are changing the game in media and entertainment. This unique list is the first of its kind in India, highlighting the significant impact women have had in shaping the entertainment sector while also redefining leadership through vision, creativity, and resilience.

The Women in Entertainment – Power List 2025 puts a well-deserved focus on women from all areas of the entertainment industry—whether it’s through stunning performances, innovative directing, compelling storytelling, or influential leadership roles. The list features a wide array of talent, including renowned actresses like Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Kareena Kapoor Khan, as well as visionary directors like Zoya Akhtar and Kiran Rao, and key industry figures like Ektaa Kapoor and Guneet Monga. These women have left a lasting impact on Indian cinema and have also significantly influenced the global entertainment scene.

Avarna Jain, Chairperson of RPSG Lifestyle Media, emphasized that this initiative is more than just a way to acknowledge achievements. "It’s a movement. Teaming up with Ormax Media, the Power 50 List showcases some amazing women from different fields, featuring top Bollywood stars like Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif, and Nayanthara, alongside industry leaders such as Monika Shergill from Netflix and Nita Ambani of Reliance/Jio Star. These incredible women are not only making waves with their personal achievements but are also creating a culture of creativity, innovation, and inclusivity in the entertainment world.

Anupama Chopra, the Editor of The Hollywood Reporter India, shared her excitement about launching this list, highlighting its goal to provide a lasting platform for women's voices in entertainment. "These women are shattering ceilings, changing the game, and making a significant mark in cinema and beyond," she noted.

To celebrate this fantastic milestone, The Hollywood Reporter India will host an exclusive invite-only event on March 21, 2025. This gathering will bring together the biggest names in the industry to honor the leadership, vision, and impact of women in this vibrant field. The evening is set to be a memorable celebration of their outstanding contributions and a crucial step toward empowering future generations of women in entertainment.
