After entertaining the audiences with the first successful season of the comedy show - The Great Indian Kapil Show, the makers are now all set for the second season. After much anticipation, the team finally announced the new season with a fun and quirky video as expected. So get ready as Kapil Sharma and the gang return with 2x the fun in the upcoming season of The Great Indian Kapil Show, which is only on Netflix!

The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 2 Announced

Sharing the official announcement on their social media accounts, Netflix and the team shared a fun video where Archana Puran Singh starts the video by saying "Aap sabke liye khush khabri hai" and then the camera pans to the entire team where they happily announce that they are all set to take the flight of laughter once again as The Great Indian Kapil Show gears up for another season full of laughter, masti and a host of celebrity guests.  

The video is captioned: "Ab shanivaar hoga “Funnyvaar” ‘cuz Kapil and gang are coming with double fun and hassi iss baar Season 2 coming soon! Stay tuned"

Earlier a source told India Today that the format of The Great Indian Kapil Show will be the same and even the airport setting. "However, the team has also planned a few new elements to add to the un of the show. The cast and crew were excited to be back on the stage and are raring to bring audiences another laughter-filled session," the source added. 

Although the makers did not unveil the release date of the show yet, it is clear that Kapil Sharma and his team including the versatile and inimitable Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Rajiv Thakur, and Archana Puran Singh will arrive every Saturday night as earlier.
