The second season of The Great Indian Kapil Show is just a few days away. Ranbir Kapoor, his mother Neetu Kapoor, and sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni graced the premiere of the first season. Now, Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Vasan Bala, and Vedang Raina will be present in the premiere episode of the second season of Kapil Sharma's talk show to promote her upcoming film, Jigra. The episode's trailer is out, and it gives a glimpse of how hilarious it's going to turn out.

Trailer Highlights: Hilarious peek into the new season

In the trailer, we see Kiku Sharda, Krushna Abhishek, and Sunil Grover dressed up as Alia Bhatt's iconic characters from Gangubai Kathiawadi, Gully Boy, and Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. We also see a banter between Karan and Kapil, in which the filmmaker talks about being a matchmaker but staying single. Furthermore, Alia doesn't hesitate to showcase her humorous side, leaving everyone in awe. The episode will also see the actor playing Whisper Challenge with Karan and Vedang. The trailer ends with Sunil appearing as the girl from "Ranbir's past," making the whole moment the funniest of all.

Exciting guests and new segments in Season 2

Like the previous season, Season 2 is going to include some of India's biggest artists celebrating the country's rich cultural heritage. Audiences will get an unparalleled opportunity to get to know renowned actors, directors, and producers, including Alia Bhatt, Saif Ali Khan, Jr. NTR, Janhavi Kapoor, and Karan Johar, in a whole new light. This season, T20 World Cup champions who are also incredibly talented at charades will appear, and the Fabulous Bollywood Wives will settle the age-old question of whether Delhi or Mumbai is India's best metropolis once and for all. Of course, the entire crew, including comic genius Kapil, delivers the jokes and punches that accompany this. The comedic craze will undoubtedly reach new heights with a touch of glitz!

The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 2 will premiere on September 21, 2024, on Netflix.
