Today, on September 11, Kapil Sharma announced the release date of the second season of The Great Indian Kapil Show. Sharing a new promo, Kapil and his team confirmed that the stand-up comedy show is all set to start streaming on 21st September. Now, the makers of the show have unveiled a new fun poster featuring the entire team of comedians and Archana Puran Singh.

Taking to their social media account, the official streaming partner of the show, Netflix, shared a new poster featuring Kapil Sharma, Sunil Grover, Archana Puran Singh, Krishna Abhishek, Tiku Sharda, and Rajiv Thakur. The poster also has "Shanivaar banega Funnyvaar" written on it. The makers captioned the post: "Kya aap taiyaar hai Shanivaar Funnyvaar ke liye!? Milte hai 21 September se, naye season mein, sirf Netflix par!"

Meanwhile, this morning, Kapil Sharma announced the release date of the highly-anticipated show with a fun video where the entire team is seen brainstorming on the ideas for the new show.
Kapil can be seen saying, “Subah se 10 dose kha liye tum logo ne koi idea hai ki nahi (You guys had 10 Dosas since morning, do you have any idea?” Kiku replies, “Nahi aa rahe ideas kuchh (No, we don't have any idea).”Archana then interrupts him and says, “Har shanivaar jab apna show aaye,” as Kapil adds, “…To log kahe ki aaj shanivaar nahi funnyvaar hai.” Kapil then announces that the series will premiere on September 21.
