After the successful first season, Kapil Sharma is all set to entertain the viewers with a lot of laughter with the second season of the popular show - 'The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 2'. Recently, the makers announced the second season with a video that reveals that this season will have multiple big names including Alia Bhatt, Saif Ali Khan, Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor, and Karan Johar, among others. 

Alia Bhatt says, 'Main hoon Alia Bhatt Kapoor...'

Alia Bhatt, who is said to be hosted in the first episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show with the team of Jigra will make a big reveal. In the latest promo shared by the makers of the show, Sunil Grover is seen having a conversation with Alia Bhatt remembering his interaction with Ranbir Kapoor, who appeared on the first season. When Sunil asks the actress "So you are Alia Bhatt?", she replies, "I am Alia Bhatt Kapoor". The actress added the surname Kapoor to her name for the first time. Alia Bhatt will grace the show with her Jigra co-star Vedang Raina and filmmaker Karan Johar.

This time, The Great Indian Kapil Show will host many big names and will be released on Netflix on September 21, 2024. 

Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor started dating after they fell in love while working together in the film, Brahmastra. The adorable couple married on April 14, 2022. A few months after their wedding, the couple welcomed daughter Raha in September.  

On the professional front, Alia Bhatt will be next seen in Jigra where she will be sharing the screen space with Vedang Raina. The film is directed by Vasan Bala and co-produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Alia Bhatt’s Eternal Sunshine Productions. Written by Debashish Irengbam and Bala, it is scheduled for a theatrical release on October 11, 2024.
