This latest season has been airing for several weeks, and just when we thought we were settling in, Kapil dropped the news about the Season 2 finale. That's right — Varun Dhawan and Team Baby John will be featured in the last episode of this season.

The cast has confirmed that The Great Indian Kapil Show will be switching to a seasonal format on Netflix instead of airing daily on TV without breaks. Each season will consist of 13 episodes, which is the new standard. The second season, hosted by Kapil Sharma, is wrapping up with its 13th episode, featuring a fun finale with Varun Dhawan and the Baby John crew.

During the 12th episode, they dropped a teaser for the finale, which includes the iconic Rekha. In the teaser, Kapil Sharma announces the Season 2 finale, which will also feature Varun Dhawan, director Atlee, Kalees, Keerthy Suresh, and Wamiqa Gabbi. The teaser hints at a lot of fun and a big celebration, with Varun's pole dance being the standout moment that had the audience in stitches.

In a chat with News18, Archana Puran Singh shared her thoughts on the show's format, explaining that the breaks between seasons are part of the producers' strategy, and they’re okay with it. “It’s Netflix that takes the breaks, not us. They have their own seasonal approach,” she mentioned. Rajiv Thakur chimed in, saying, “They’re not used to working too much. We love to keep busy; we’d be happy to work twice a week. We hope Netflix can get on board with that too.” Sunil Grover added, “I guess this is just how they operate — filming 13 episodes per season.”

The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 2 boasts an impressive lineup, featuring stars like Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Govinda, Shakti Kapoor, Chunky Panday, the cast of Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives, Rekha, Vidya Balan, Kartik Aaryan, Navjot Singh Sidhu, Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Jr NTR, Sonakshi Sinha, Zaheer Iqbal, Shatrughan Sinha, and cricketers Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, and Axar Patel, among others.
