After entertaining the viewers with its first successful season, the second season of The Great Indian Kapil Show is gearing up for its release. Along with Kapil Sharma, the show features Sunil Grover, Archana Puran Singh, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, and Rajiv Thakur. Recently, in an interview, Archana opened up about her pay for the show compared to the other cast members. Read on to know the details. 

Archana Puran Singh reveals The Great Indian Kapil Sharma Show cast gets double her paycheck

As the release date of The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 2 is nearing its release date, the team is busy promoting the show in full swing. In a recent interview when Kiku Sharda was asked if he feels it frustrating that he has to put extra effort into costumes and performances while Archana gets paid for just laughing, Archana said, “Paise ye log double le jate hai. Toh sahi hai na mehnat karo bhai. (These people earn double the money, so they must do the hard work). I’m getting paid to laugh, and they’re getting paid for their hard work. Some get paid for their beauty, others for their talent, but I get paid for all of that.”

Meanwhile, the makers recently released the trailer of the show which shows that this season will deliver double fun and laughter. The second season will feature celebrities including Saif Ali Khan, Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Janhvi Kapoor, and Rohit Sharma, among others. Sharing the trailer on their social media account, Netflix wrote: "When your favourite guests meet Kapil & gang, Shanivaar ka Funnyvaar banna pakka hai Watch #TheGreatIndianKapilShow Season 2 from 21 September, raat 8 baje, sirf Netflix par!"
