Vijay to team up with Sun Pictures for Thalapathy 70?

If the recent updates are to be believed, Thalapathy Vijay is planning to finish his 70th outing in Tamil cinema, before taking an indefinite break from the films. Yes, you read it right. According to recent reports by a popular Tamil online media, the crowd-puller of Tamil cinema is planning to team up with his frequent collaborators, Sun Pictures, for the film which is tentatively named Thalapathy 70. The new update has left both the Vijay fans and cine-goers, equally excited.

According to the grapevine, Thalapathy Vijay has reportedly decided to team up with Sun Pictures for his final outing in Tamil cinema before the break, because of a reason. The actor, who was planning to bid goodbye to the cinema with Thalapathy 69, changed his mind about providing an opportunity to some of the senior actors and technicians, who are currently going through a tough phase in their respective careers. Reportedly, a few popular directors are already in talks for the project. However, none of these reports are officially confirmed, yet.

The GOAT and Thalapathy 69

As you may know, Thalapathy Vijay is joining hands with Venkat Prabhu for his 68th outing in Tamil cinema. The project, which has been titled The Greatest Of All Time aka The GOAT, is all set to hit the big screens on September 5, 2024. After the release of the action thriller, Vijay is expected to officially launch Thalapathy 69, his upcoming untitled 69th film which will be directed by Valimai fame director, H Vinoth. The project is reportedly bankrolled by The Route.
