A new season of Temptation Island is set to debut on Netflix on March 12.

Originally launched on Fox in 2001, the reality series aired for three seasons before being revived by USA Network in 2019, where it continued for an additional five seasons until 2023. This will mark the first time the show is available for streaming on Netflix.

Hosted by Mark L. Walberg, the dating program focuses on a group of couples who find themselves separated in a tropical paradise, facing pivotal decisions regarding issues such as past infidelity, financial or emotional stability, and sexual compatibility.

During their temporary separation, the new singles will move into a villa filled with potential partners who are indifferent to the existing relationships. At the weekly campfire, each participant will receive a brief, out-of-context glimpse into the activities of their significant other at the villa.

Each partner will ultimately decide whether their relationship is worth preserving or if it is time to part ways, either individually or with someone new.

The four couples featured in this season include:

28-year-old Lino and Alexa, who have been in a relationship for three years. Lino aims to ensure that no other potential romantic interests on the island could sway him, while Alexa seeks to explore her independence through this experience.

Ashley and Grant, both aged 28, have been in an on-and-off relationship for the past eighteen months. Ashley harbors trust issues stemming from Grant's previous infidelity. With support from new acquaintances and potential romantic interests, she aspires to rediscover her former self. Meanwhile, Grant is dedicated to proving his personal growth.

Shanté, 29, and Brion, 26, who have been together for a year, are contemplating starting a family. However, Shanté struggles with insecurity due to Brion's past relationship with another woman early in their romance. She finds it challenging to trust that he can resist the temptation of other women, particularly given his history of unfaithfulness.

Tyler, 27, has never experienced solitude, having begun a relationship with Tayler, 30, immediately after his six-year marriage ended. He hopes that participating in the show will help him gain a clearer understanding of his true relationship desires. Tayler, who has been the primary financial provider since Tyler left his corporate job to pursue modeling, seeks reassurance that his commitment to their relationship is genuine.
