Soon after Srijit Mukherji’s Tekka got a grip over its box office collection, the lead actor and actress Dev and Rukmini Maitra took a break for a holiday. Both of them have been posting photos from exotic locations on their social media.  

Rukmini plays Maya – a rough and tough cop – in Tekka. Perhaps she is still under the hang of it. Hence she became in a war mood even on a trip. She took two swords in two hands and jumped on the enemies. Tekka had a tremendously good business this Durga Puja. It is not known where they went, but the place has a touch of history. In such a site, Rukmini took two swords and shot a reel within a warrior mode.   

The actress posted several photos on Instagram along with a video that shows her playing swords with others disguised as warriors. She wrote in the caption, "Saturday night. Let the GAMES begin!" Then she added, "Please support my amazing sword fighting/dandia skill, because team India won!" After this post, Rukmini went with Dev to see a waterfall. Both of them shared photos and videos. Dev wrote "Emni" in the caption of his photo.  

Srijit Mukherji's film Tekka, starring Dev and Rukmini, was released on October 8. Swastika Mukherjee, Paran Banerjee, Kamaleswar Mukherjee, and Sujan Mukherjee also played other pivotal roles in the film. The film did a business of three and a half crores in the first week of release, as reported by Dev's production house.
