A teacher can be your parents, sister, or anyone who teaches you the great lessons of life. Meanwhile, Bollywood celebrities took to their social media accounts and shared heartwarming notes to celebrate the social day. 

Kajol drops throwback picture with mom Tanuja

Taking to her Instagram account a while ago, Kajol shared a major throwback picture with her mother Tanuja. The snap captures the actress as a child with her mother. 

Sharing the picture, she wrote, "To the two bigggest teachers of my life … my mom who gave me all the lessons and the child me who learnt them in her own way.. stumbling and falling and misunderstanding and experiencing .. I can see u both so much clearer now .."

A fan account of Sidharth Malhotra shared a post featuring life lessons from the actor's movie characters. Re-sharing the post on his Instagram Story, Malhotra penned, "Life has been one big classroom, from school playgrounds to the magic of film sets. Every person I have met has left their mark, shaping me into who I am today. Thank you to each one of you for all that you have done. Happy Teachers' Day."

On the other hand, a fan account of Kriti Sanon shared some pictures of the actress's mother. Resharing it on her Instagram Story, the Mimi actress wrote, "Happy Teachers Day to the best teacher in my life (red hearts)" 

Work front

On the professional front, Kajol and Kriti will be sharing screen space in the upcoming Do Patti. Directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi, the film is a maiden production of Kanika Dhillon’s Kathha Pictures and Kriti's Blue Butterfly Films.
