Taylor Swift's reaction to being booed at the Caesars Superdome during the Super Bowl quickly gained traction online, transforming her into an instant meme.

The 35-year-old artist made her debut on the jumbotron on Sunday, only to be met with enthusiastic jeers, which left her visibly taken aback.

This event occurred prior to the Kansas City Chiefs, whose roster includes her boyfriend Travis Kelce, facing defeat against the Philadelphia Eagles.

After being booed by Eagles fans, the singer was seen delivering a surprised side glance before engaging in conversation with a friend.

As her expression circulated widely on social media, numerous users drew parallels between her side-eye moment, which has now become a meme, and the monkey puppet meme from the Japanese children's television program Ōkiku naru Ko.

One user on X remarked, “Lmao oh my god! Taylor Swift nailed this meme,” while another posed the question, “Who did it better?” in a similar comparison.

Trump trolls Taylor Swift

On Sunday, Donald Trump made history as the first sitting president to attend a Super Bowl. Accompanied by several family members, he quickly took to Truth Social to mock the singer present at the event.

“The only individual who experienced a more challenging evening than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift. She was BOOED out of the Stadium. MAGA is quite unforgiving!” the President stated.

Trump also shared a video that depicted Swift being booed from various sections of the stadium, contrasting it with the applause he received when he appeared on the jumbotron before the national anthem was performed.

In response, her friend Serena Williams came to her defence, posting on X: “I love you @taylorswift13, don’t pay attention to those boos!!”

As reported by the Daily Mail, a body language expert noted that Taylor exhibited “grim support” for Travis.
