Following a demanding and rigorous run with her record-setting Eras Tour, Taylor Swift is now taking a well-deserved break to relax and rejuvenate. Concluding the 149-show tour in December 2024, the 35-year-old artist is reportedly spending considerable time in New York and reconnecting with friends, according to a source cited by Us Weekly. While she recuperates in New York, Swift is also beginning to focus on her future endeavours, which include plans with her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.

Swift and Kelce looking for a place together?

Taylor Swift has been utilizing her newly available time to address several personal projects on her agenda. At the forefront of her endeavours is the renovation of her seaside mansion in Rhode Island. According to a source, the singer intends to increase the size of the property by 400 square feet and transform one of the existing bedrooms into a more spacious suite, with an estimated cost of $1.7 million. The source mentioned, “She’s aiming to have it completed by the summer.”

In addition to the renovations, Swift is also contemplating the purchase of a residence in Kansas City, where Kelce is located. The source informed the media that, “When they have the opportunity, they plan to explore real estate,” noting that the couple has discussed the possibility of acquiring a home together.

Swift and Kelce’s romance

The relationship between Swift and Travis Kelce commenced in the summer of 2023, following a notable incident during Swift’s Eras Tour in Kansas City. After Kelce attempted to convey his phone number to Swift via a friendship bracelet, their initial interactions did not occur immediately; however, they eventually established a connection. By September 2023, the singer of "Lover" made her inaugural appearance at a Kansas City Chiefs game to support Kelce, thereby publicly affirming their romance.

The NFL player later remarked on the audacity of Swift’s gesture during an episode of the New Heights podcast, stating, “Shout-out to Taylor for pulling up. That was pretty ballsy. She looked amazing … and on top of that, the day went perfect for Chiefs fans. We script it all, ladies and gentlemen. It was absolutely electric.”

In November 2023, Swift shared with TIME, “We actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other.” She further explained, “By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple. I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date.”
